I know this is weird but my gaming notebook recently died and I have a week long business trip planned coming up and I need a notebook with a dedicated gpu or I might die of boredom.

I am wanting to rent a notebook with a decent dedicated gpu equivalnt to an Nvidia 280 or AMD midrange.

I would prefer a 15" with removable hard drive bay so I can install my own SSD and install Windows 7 and the games I'll be playing.

For compensation I would be able to pay either with cash(up to $125(paypal)) or trade my Samsung 830 256GB SSD.

I do need the laptop no later than 4/14 so I need to strike a deal within the next day or two. I will be paying for shipping both ways.

Please message me with your laptop's details and heatware and we can work out something. :)

LOL I need to find a constructive way to fill my time after enduring 8 hours of training/coursework.

edit, I might have found one on EVGA's forums. :)

Not sure if it would work for you but I have a express card eGPU connector i'd let you borrow for free. If you could find a laptop with a decent enough CPU and the slot it could make things easier for you.

This is cool, I didn't know such thing existed. So you can stick in any GPU you have and get performance boost?

Pretty much. It just has to be powered externally. Obviously, throwing a Titan in it would be ridiculous though. Something like a 460/550ti/650ti/750 would be the way to go. Just threw it out as an option because I figured he had might be able to re-use some stuff from his desktop.

Here are a lot of cards/laptops people have used eGPUs setups with:

I have gotten complex eCig mods, banana bread, ITX computers, and bags filled with arduino stuff with no problem through out the US. I'm sure he'd be fine.

Thanks for the offer but I found a guy on EVGA that has a massive 18" Toshiba with a 480m that will do great. :) PM me if you'd like a great price on a 128GB Samsung 830 though ;)

Awesome solutions, but dont have the time to set that up. Might be a great home solution though, an external gpu chamber/box but it would require a 12V source and output monitor. Thanks for the info man!
