When I open up the NVIDIA Control Panel, SLI Surround options are available, but when I go to configure it, all my displays act as though they are being disconnected and the system sound for a hardware connection/disconnection is heard, but nothing happens. When all the monitors are all back on, the option for "Activate all Displays" is checked instead of the surround option. The surround option is still available for me to click, but repeating the process yields the same results. I'm trying to pair a GTX 470 and GTX 560 TI.
This method has worked before on older drivers from around December. I believe they were 331.xx drivers. The only thing that has changed about my system are the updated drivers I'm currently running (335.23). This makes me think it has something to do with the drivers, but I honestly have no clue. Thanks in advance for any help!\

EDIT: It looks like all the settings in that tab reset back to their defaults after I try to configure SLI. If I change my PhysX settings and then configure SLI, they set back to default. I don't know if that's significant at all.

EDIT#2: Just tried again with the 334.89 drivers. No luck.

Phew. Got it fixed. It wasn't a problem with the GPU drivers. My monitors' drivers were bad and clean install of those fixed my issues. Thanks, Ember for this tool. Works perfectly.

I hope you can also make it work for the 337.50 drivers!
Currently getting this error:
: Could not find patch #4, falling back to permutation #1
: Could not find patch #4, falling back to permutation #2
[E] : Could not find patch #4 at all. Please inform Ember @ techPowerUp! forums.
[C] : Patching was aborted because all of the patch locations could not be found.

Because SLI worked perfectly between 670 and 770 with previous drivers.

This is a beta release. I am not updating the patcher unless it does not work on the stable release of the drivers when they are released.

I've created a custom build with a new signature for this beta build and will PM you the patched driver for you to test.

Hi,

like xry, i'm sorry for my bad english.

As Unique or Neoart, i installed the latest beta driver 337.50. And now, SLI between Gigabytes GTX 670 and 680 does not work any more.

Please somebody can tell me when the patch will be available or send it to me by MP.

Thank you in advance

i think i found the resolution my cards are different : the zotac is 256 bit card and the evga 320 bit cards and they have different Cuda cores .

One question, Malwarebytes finds these SLI zip's to contain a "Backdoor.bot" malware....
I have more unsigned dll's on my comp, and none of these give this warning.
/update: ah its the CheckSum.exe it complains about, probably nothing to worry about then, I hope. :)

Different SLI [AUTO] - SLI for different cards.

What it can do :
Pair up different GPUs of similar generation/architecture to work together in SLI.

What it can't do :
Pair up different GPUs from different architectures or using different VRAM sizes*

*Please note that mixing different VRAM sizes has worked, however is very inconsistent and may fail.

Before you get started, you will want to check compatibility based on architecture.
In your Windows device manager. Right click on your display adapter and go to properties. Switch to the "Details" tab, and in the combo box select "Hardware Ids."
The first three numbers following "DEV" must match for the cards to work together.

As an example :

NVIDIA_DEV.1185.098A.10DE = "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660"
NVIDIA_DEV.1185.106F.10DE = "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760

The following is a list of current and some past Nvidia cards.

Anti-virus note - Some virus modules will produce a false positive concerning DifferenSLIAuto1.0
For example, Malware Bytes states :

DifferentSLIAuto1.0/tools/Checksum.exe as being malicious.

We suggest making an exception in your anti-virus program. For MBAM in particular, you remove it from your quarantine and then goto your "Ignore" tab. Browse to the file and confirm to have MBAM ignore it in the future.

I see Nvidia Quadro K4000 in the desktop cards list. Does that mean this card will work in SLI? Will i need this software to make it work or should it work out of the box if i am using two indentical Quadro k4000 cards? I aslo use HyperSLI since my board does not support SLI.

Currently trying gtx 550ti and n460 gtx hawk. Have Sli link getting black screens tho only under high gpu loads like benchmarks. Can play wow and elder scrolls online on max settings for a awhile but end up getting black screens. Tried 460 main first couldn't open games without black screens. Putting 550 first was able to run games. Running driver 335.23.
So my question is should i use nvflash and nibitor to change device HWID of 460 to match 550 or leave. Or should i try older driver.

(edit) cant change HWID thru bios flash changed back :(
also now getting windows driver error on restart and being thrown into windows test
