Today EK waterblocks shared Richard Keirsgieter's upcoming project photo on their facebook page. According to description its an upcoming mod job for the computex show. And as of now Gigabyte doesnt have a single G1-series motherboard with red accents on heatsinks. So is this their new Z97 based motherboards. It looks like every manufacturer is copying the red-black colour scheme orignally seen on Asus Gaming motherboards.

You might be right as the mid-board cooler says G1. GAMING, and I don't think such a product exists yet.

I still remember white & blue (& red) ASUS ROG models... there have been black & red mainboards way before that (e.g. abit Fatal1ty series).

Yep! Black and red Fatal1ty boards all the way back to the now-defunct Abit days.
