Hello TPU. I need some help. I dont know if it is possible or not.
But anyway, our company has been sold to other company and this new company set up their own server and replace all computers.
But there are still programs that we wanted to look up from old company.
The thing was, the programs installed into the old pc runs in connection to the old server.
My question is, is there a way to make it think the old pc still connected to the old server. so I can just run programs in the old pc without connecting to the old server?
Lets say, I copied all files into the local pc from the server. But there are still programs that require connection to the server.
Is there a way to create a "virtual server" making it think that the computer is connected to the server.
specs is below: OLD PC - windows xp sp2
old server = windows server 2003.
anyway help would greatly appreciated.
I wanted to do this cause I want to take home the old sever
