Hightech Information System (HIS) today proudly announces the HIS R9 295X2 Liquid Cooler 8GB. HIS R9 295X2 Liquid Cooler 8GB is the world's fastest graphics card engineered for ultimate performance. Its features the Next Generation CrossFire support for up to 5 GPUs with no interconnect bridge required. It's designed with the latest technologies, all metal construction and features two R9 290X GPUs, which provides an all-round graphic experience to all users.

The R9 295X2 graphics card reference design ships with an advanced closed-loop liquid cooling system developed jointly with Asetek. This is what the future of PC gaming sounds like. Loaded with AMD's latest technology, such as GCN, Apps Faster & Smoother and so on, the card has revolutionary improvements on computing performance, gaming experience as well as power consumption!

120mm radiator? I wouldn't expect much from that in either the cooling or quiet department. Even if it's a 140mm rad it's still going to be sub par to anything custom, and probably no better than other air alternatives such as the windforce. This just raises my hackles.

Is based on reference design so everything will be exactly like the reference card. Its called reference for a reason.

This has to be a typo, no? Me thinks it means 4, but I've been wrong before. :p

Now I want to see the press release for the EK full cover blocks :D

I don't know man - I was thinking the price isn't bad for what you get (in UK it is £1040 for cheapest version) but to water cool two reference 290X's adds up to about £960 for cards and blocks, then you have to buy a radiator, pump and cooling peripherals.
Given the reviews say it's cooled sufficiently, maybe except for VRM, it seems expensively redundant to custom water cool a reference water cooled card?
I know a custom block and loop will cool better but the price trade off seems a bit... pointless. The overclocking won't change and the acoustics are already good apparently. I mean, sure, it's not the prettiest but eye of the beholder and all that.

did you actually read any reviews of the 295x, or are you just trolling?
the 295x stays quite cool, hitting 71 at most under furmark, and is quiet to boot, being quieter than a single 780ti, all while maintaining a 1018MHz clock rate. not bad considering this is a 500 watt GPU.

I'm not trolling in the slightest. If you want to pay $1500 for a squirrel fan cooler with a crappy H50 strapped to it, be my guest.

I'd much prefer spending my dough on something that was not only aesthetically pleasing and functional, something along the lines of EVGAs' Hydrocopper alternative would have been a much better offering.
