MAINGEAR, an award-winning custom PC builder known for custom gaming high-performance desktop, laptops and workstations revamps their popular VYBE desktop with a brand new chassis and features that offer the best hardware options in high-performance and cooling that is completely scalable for price and performance.

Performance:
Performing the very best is important to MAINGEAR and with the new VYBE, gamers will be able to build their dream systems that can range from a PC that is simple or outfitted to be maxed out in performance. Featuring Intel's 4th generation Core architecture or latest generation 6-core Extreme Edition processors, the new VYBE Z97 and X79 can be watercooled, overclocked and support 4k surround ready gaming.

The new VYBE also offers a wide variety of graphics configurations with up to three GPUs (from AMD or NVIDIA) and can be configured with up to three NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN Blacks or three AMD Radeon R9 290X for screaming performance all packed in a quiet PC. Compared to console gaming, the VYBE offers more power, longevity and upgradability than any console in the marketing today.

Keeping Everything Cool:
With the various configurations that can be built in the new VYBE, MAINGEAR ensured that it houses the necessary cooling to keep even the most demanding configurations cool. With a dual 120 mm front intake configuration, up to two 120 mm fans mounted on the top and a rear 120 mm fan, you can be assured that the crazy, insane configuration you want will indeed stay cool.

Design:
The new VYBE is based around an all-new full ATX chassis design that stays true to MAINGEAR's refined design aesthetic and features. The new VYBE offers versatile build option and is designed for longevity, maximum upgrade capabilities while still being able to offer the necessary cooling for even the most demanding configurations. The VYBE chassis comes with a space grey and black exterior and a Rosso Scuderia red interior that can be seen through a side window to showcase the beautiful and clean interior powerhouse custom built inside. Any gamer or pc enthusiasts will appreciate the clean, efficient and tight cabling that makes you wonder where did all the cables go and you can even choose various LED Lighting options to complete a unique color scheme design.

"Maingear's new update to the VYBE drives home the point that you don't need a monster case to achieve top notch performance" said Randy Stude, Intel Enthusiast Segment Marketing Manager. "Powered by Intel Processors the VYBE can be configured five different ways and each one is designed to deliver amazing performance in its category."

"The new MAINGEAR VYBE is compact in size but full of power," said Scott Herkelman, general manager of the GeForce business unit at NVIDIA. "The VYBE can be packed with up to three GTX TITAN BLACKs in SLI mode, providing the ultimate gaming experience for the most demanding power users."

"Our new VYBE brings to the table everything that a MAINGEAR gaming PC should be," said Wallace Santos CEO of Maingear, "Sleek exterior design, awesome cooling features, and the space to pack in the latest hardware, the new VYBE delivers in all these areas and more."

Why would you need two Blue-ray drives? Why would you need any internal optical drive, for that matter?

I burn dvds, blue rays of church services, events, weddings etc. I also have two in one of my rigs. This has been a common set up for me since the internal blu ray became available. will be putting a slim one in my itx's too.....but that's just me......

I guess if you need PC for video editing, that would be OK. But in the gaming rig it's bit pointless, isn't it?
