Announced back in July 2013, Micron's 128 Gigabit 16 nm-manufactured MLC (multi-level cell) NAND Flash memory will soon be making its debut within a new Crucial solid state drive. Named MX100, the 16 nm NAND-equipped drive will be showcased at Computex 2014 and is expected to arrive in a 2.5-inch form factor.

The MX100 has a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface and performance-wise it's said to be somewhere between the aging M500 and the recently released M550. Pricing is expected to be very competitive.

Nice, but looks a little plain would clash with majority of builds, But then again if its a performer at a good price so what.

How can a SSD "clash with the majority of builds"? Do you color coordinate your PC hardware and then stare at it all day long or do you actually use your PC? LOL

Specifically I am talking about the Crosair cases with the vertical SSD mounts, this would be an eyesore in the build I am currently doing. I am going with the Kingston HyperX 3K, its black with a little bit of brushed metal. If its not visible than no problem.

But in my case when everything else in the build is black and you would have a grey blue SSD that is 100% visible than it would bug me.

I f I am spending alot of a computer it will perform and look good at the same time.
