Also on the PSU side..don't see anything but the 12v lane amperage..now, add the tdp of CPU and GPU, divide by 12 and add 3-4 for safety at least and you get the absolute min PSU requirements you can get more of you will upgrade or use the machine for more than 2 years(continuously added time)

Now

, listen..firstly you Have to givve an online site where we can check prices...and secondly..if you won't want to upgrade..which won't really happen unless Intel has been really holding something back for 3-4 years, you will have 80< ℅ of future gen i5..so all in all if you don't want to upgrade and get a new PC within next 5 years get 3rd gen 3450and if you want to over clock then 3570k,..I've checked on a Malaysian site it is 580-590..don't know reliability..now don't stop reading the best realistic thing to do here is to get the 4460or 4430..but you will also be paying for the hugely increased igpu which you won't use...if you can get 4460 very close to 3570k and want to upgrade in future then get it...if you want to save money here and use and throw PC then get 3rd gen...very little performance increase is implemented on CPU side from 3rd to 4th gen...the problem with getting 3rd gen is it uses and. Older socket which is most possibly obsolete..

EDIT: ON GPU SIDE, kindly read my previous message and tell the kind of games...even if you dont know just get 770,,,been on the green team forever and never faced frame time issues...awesome performance is seen from 337.5 beta..waiting for the whql as for the past few months some errors were reported and they most possibly will be fixed as it is taking long...it is up to you mantle supports 3-4 games..98% of the games are dx11

EDIT: just see my rig for example.I don't generally play extreme turn based stratedy game so I saved 100$ by getting i3..and got 900monitor and got a good amount of boost from 1080p basically no difference in visuals..with a rig far cheaper than yours completey based on bang for buck I can play every game on ultra other than bf3 mp (med-high)..on 55-60fps with min more than 52 fps

Thanks for the informative reply. I usually play FPS and open world games. I never thought building a PC required so much knowledge.

Oh yeah, another question, do you recommend to go for better quality RAM? Or just any RAM would do?

The current sweet spot seems to be any 8GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 RAM with a form of heatsink. For 99% of people, RAM is RAM. Nothing to really sweat over.

If my posts helped, you then kindly press thanks button on my posts , it is in the lower right hand corner ..on the ram side just get 1600 or 1866...there is basically no difference in gaming unless you are using apu ...my advice just save money and get 2x4 GB ram 1600 MHz ddr3...it will last you...

I've seen some 1866 go for cheaper than 1600 due to demand. Maybe the difference is only $3 (which is the case for my 16GB) but a penny saved is a penny earned.

I would get whichever card is built aftermarket wise between the two and release the kraken. Get a AIO cooler and OC like crazy. You'll have a 1080p killer.

Their budget is $1,000. I'm sure we're already topping it out without adding in AIO coolers. OC'ing isn't always needed to play on 1080p.

Oh yeah, forgot one thing, the height of Cosair Vengenance is pretty high and it may not allow you to install huge cpu coolers, before getting a cooler firstly just google both their names and if the heatsink is popular, it will answer you..For this exactt reason, I got G skill RipjawsX but you can get the newer series...

EDIT: Also you must get a good brand power supply like cosair or seasonic (it makes for cosair)..it should be the first thing on your list a bad psu can damage everything..

Is the FX 8320 out of your budget? I always regretted never getting an 8 core one and between the R9 280x and GTX 770 I've heard the 770 is a bit better. As for the ram any 1600 Mhz or 1866 Mhz CL9 1.35V or 1.5V would be great. Mine run at 1333 and I have no complaints.

Necro'd by somebody who felt they needed to put forward their advice, perhaps not realising OP has probably long dealt with the matter since. Happens a lot lately. People need to read dates more. It's almost as if they're searching for threads with specific titles to post in.

Or trying to get their post count up, believing @Tatty_One's signature picture  I think I've accidentally done it a couple of times, back when I was new to the forums.

Sometimes gaming branding on items is a marketing ploy so that you pay them more money. For some manufacturers, they do add features that can be useful to their "gaming" lines, but not always essential for the everyday gamer. In terms of motherboards, there are some features like Killer NICs that people just don't really need.
