I was recently re-given the task of building my cousin a gaming PC.
We tried to build him one when IB came out, but he ran out of cash we managed to get everything minus the 4 main components (CPU, GPU, RAM, and Mobo).
He brought it up again and told me he wanted to get this thing done and asked, what's the best i7 on the market. I told him the 4770K, but it makes more sense to wait like two weeks for the 4790K.
For the mobo, he's stuck on the Z97 Sabertooth Mark 1.
We haven't decided on RAM.
I'm trying to convince him to with an SSD too.
I'm stumped with the GPU. Should I have him go the current AMD route, or wait for high end Maxwell cards? Brand doesn't matter, what matters is the components I go with are worth it.
