I had PCI-E on a Biostar 939 T-Force NF4 SLI board, there are many 939 boards that have PCI-E. Also 939 isn't all that slow, it should be about the same as a Pentium 4. With the right operating system it can fly.
Back in the day (2004) it was all about the AMD Athlon 64 paired with an NVidia 6800 Ultra. So much nostalgia...
I still have atleast 3 939 CPU's sitting around in a box somewhere (Two Venices and a San Diego), and my father has a Manchester 939 system still operating with Windows XP. My buddy has my old 939 Opteron 144 Venus and Biostar, might have thrown away
