I still have my old 650 Ti and I read were it is a very good at being a dedicated physx card. I was wondering if there is anyway to run my old 650 Ti with my R9 270.

Too bad Hybridiz development has stopped (Physx v3 has broken it again and there's no apparent fix) :(

Still rocking my GT430 :rockout:

Well
Nevertheless it's the only option that is really working
It still support the latest version of physx
And I haven't faced any issues while playing Metro Last Light and Batman Arkham Origins with advanced physx option turned on

I just don't understand the marketing advantage of not allowing Hybrid Physx. Right now the nVidia market is "people that want an nVidia GPU", with Hybrid Physx the market would be "everyone" :banghead:

oh, well... that horse has been beat already :ohwell:

I don't understand the point in physx. I've run hybrid with two 7950's and a 275, and I've run two 780's with a dedicated 275. Personally I find physx is completely worthless, and most of the time I turn it off because the effects it adds are entirely irritating.

Yeah I think I am up the creek there. The GT 630 is a fermi re-badge so it can run on the older driver. My 650 Ti is kepler. And it actually came late in 2012.
Oh
I forgot to mention that mine is on keppler
Actually I have 640, sorry for misunderstood, 630 and 640 from zotac very look alike and honestly at girst I ordered 630

Some 640's were GF108 Fermi. Except for the later ones. So that might be whats going on. It won't acknowledge my 650 Ti but it does My very old 9800GTX+ But the 9800 is just a waste of resources.

Mine is definitely on keppler
So hybridiz is working fine even on the latest nvidia architecture with the latest physx

I'll keep trying then. But I am about to give up. The frustration is starting to outweigh the small benefit. I wonder if being on Windows 8.1 has anything to do with it.

But what the reason of frustration?
Even if you don't see great benefit of physx in games that doesn't mean that its gonna make some problems

Trying to just get it to work is a problem.
