Which one to choose to help an AMD skt462 system?

+1 on the 7500. Even when new, the 5200 was awful.

The 5200 was awful, only slightly better than onboard video at the time. Definately go for 7500.

After swapping I found it might be a scam gpu. Hercules Prophet 3D 64m 7500LE but only DirectX7 and got win scores of Aero 1.9 and Gaming 1.0 compared to the 5200 Aero 2.0 and Gaming 2.5 with DirectX9.

That's an ATi Radeon 7500LE, a competitor to the GeForce2 MX! You got sent the wrong card. It's from 2001.
