ok, so i JUST dropped 400usd on a new gpu and would like to avoid dropping anything close to that ever again, so what i'm looking for is a GOOD liquid CPU cooler that's less than 80usd
i've seen a refurb on newegg for 70ish but i don't really trust refurbs that much when it comes to pc parts
i've looked at the Corsair h80i and h100i but they're both OVER 80 and border lined or over 100usd
is there any other TRUSTED brands that sell Liquid cpu coolers? (by trusted i mean well known)
thanks in advance!

I have a refubished H100i and H80i, they are both good, and since Corsair gives a 1 year warranty on their refubs, I wouldn't worry about it. Plus the refurb H80i is only $50 this weekend with promo code EMCPCHH85! That is an insane price.

I took a Seidon 120M.... after few weeks I disassembled it and refilled... Don't care for the warranty on those, The fluid was already dirty... But the pump on that model is fine... tried also red mod... the performance is great... but for CPU... it is an overkill in my opinion.

I have one of the Thermaltake contained units. It is very quiet and works great, I've had it in there for at least a year maintenance free.

For something inexpensive your options are limited if you do not do a refurb. But I do like this cooler because of its performance and price:

Antec Kuhler 650 Its performance is quite nice and it handles temps very well. I tested it on a Heavily clocked Pentium anniversary and an i5 4670k and I was able to hit some relatively great clocks (Up to 4.5 on the i5) without having temperature issues (nothing above the 70's) and the noise was actually not to bad.

If you can grab an open box deal, I would say this is a good option:

Thermaltake Water 3.0 Open Box That would be more than enough for the higher level overclocks.

Tough to tell... looks like either socket 5 or 7 mobo... around early 90ies.... gosh... I feel so old now.... support me mates...

The chipset was so poor it didn't even have floppy controller... lulz, but it has two VESA local bus slots... woooow...

ok so i'm not sure if i wanna get the h100i or the refurbed h80i from corsiar
(got paid today so i have some monies XD)
i have a cougar mid tower
though for the price of a h100i i could get this...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...060&cm_re=corsair_h100-_-35-181-032-_-Product
with the discount it's the same price
it's an h105

also... i've read some of the reviews.... and it seems like it would need a corsair case....
that can't be right can it?
my tower top can hold 2x 120mm fans
the rear holds 1
the front however houses a 200mm fan
sooo i'm a little uncertain as to what i should get..
i'm proabably gonna go with the corsair refurb
but i wanna know what you guys think

Should be able to just lookup the specs of your case and see if it says it "Supports 240mm radiator"

Ive bought many refurbished Corsair AIO coolers and by the way I have never had any leak. I bought an H50 Corsair on sale for $34 one time. I don't think I ever seen a AIO cooler leak

also you spent way to much on a gpu unless you are gaming at 2k you could have done with something 150.00 cheaper
