I bought an open box 750 and sent it back because it was FUBAR. So with what I could afford I purchased an MSI gx70 that ended up coming with a steel series flex headphone set for $1199, Can't really complain with it though, it runs everything on High to ultra, and the speakers and keyboard are much better in my opinion. But if I could have waited, and had an Extra $100 to spend I would have definitely bought this!

What graphic card do you have in your laptop? First I was looking at MSI laptops but I have seen reviews on youtube and the MSI laptops were running very hot, even with the turbo fan speed on! And it sounded like a jet engine lol

Thats why I choose for Asus ROG, because it has better cooling then MSI laptops.

It's the AMD a10 5750m processor with the r9 m290x. Doesn't run hot at all, and have only used the turbo fan to see if it did anything worthwhile... no difference noticed

The laptops in the US are much cheaper then in Europe, for 1600Euros I could probably buy an Asus G750 with a GTX880M in the US

2142 US dollar, thats what I paid for my laptop here in Europe!

Just out of curiosity, how are the MSI KB and speakers better, because I love the ones on the Asus. My ROG has a subwoofer, plenty of soundpower, speakers sound the same with screen closed, and the chiclet keyboard is the first one I like, sort of.

Good price. It is literally double the price here in Australia ($2449 or $2275.11USD) D: The only thing that is better is that the one here has a proper SSD.

IMO, The sound on the MSI is much crisper and clear, the g750 sounded muffled to me. The keyboard also seems much more responsive to my touch than the g750 (shorter keystrokes) Overall I like the chassis of my MSI better, but the ASUS had better internals. It all came down to what I could afford, and so far the MSI has not disappointed with the AMD counterparts. I was really concerned due to all the negativity towards it, but I really don't see any downsides to it so far! But if I had 1299, I'd snatch that one from Tiger in a heartbeat!!!
