Help ASUS VX239H or LG 23MP65HQ for movies/gaming

What should I choose between the 2?

I choose this 2 because it is in my budget and available at my country.

The asus vx238h is cheaper by ₱810 or $18.

I like the LG a little more...but not $18 more....maybe $5 more...
But
At least here ASUS offers rapid replacement for 3 years....and it has 2 HDMI....and I don't really think other than minor aesthetics that you will ever notice a difference...
So for piece of mind and less money I'd go ASUS

What is the purpose of 2 HDMI?

Will it improve the quality of the video? or it is for multiple monitor set up?

The only feature it adds is the ability to hook up more than 1 device...

What are the important specs in a monitor? I just look at the response time and if it is an IPS monitor.

The LG is on sale so the prices are now even.

What do you like about the LG one?

the LG is the better panel
lower pixel pitch is better.. sharper image
also the ASUS monitor uses that dynamic contrast crap that looks good on paper but in real life not so much
