Did you wipe the drivers using Display Driver Uninstaller in safe mode? I just fixed my moms laptop that was giving he 0x00000116 code by doing a full clean driver reinstall and update.

Uninstall driver in control panel, reboot into safe mode and clean up with Display Driver Uninstaller. Reboot and install new drivers.

Thanks for the reply I'm really stuck here and a bit of a pc noob my specs are CPU=FX 8120, PSU=XFX 750W 80+, GPU's= 1x R9 270 and 1x R9 270X, Ram= 8GB Vengence 1866MHZ
I used the guru driver wiper but not in safe mode, then i installed 1 card reinstalled drivers and games where running fine then i installed 2nd carrd and reinstalled drivers again and im getting crazy stuttering in bf4 and then blue screen and sometimes my pc freezes when playing titanfall(was also getting blue screen before i reinstalled drivers for the 3rd time). But Tomb Rider works fine in crossfire and i ran Heaven benchmark and ran fine 2.Any idea folks?

Uninstall the drivers - use guru driver wiper in safe mode, - reinstall drivers with BOTH cards plugged in, In any case it should detect the second card even if you didnt reinstall the drivers all over again.

Have the second card plugged in when you reinstall your drivers. you dont need to do them seperately. Thats how i always did it when i had AMD cards.
