Well in that price range wireless is out. G400s would be my choice

My UtechSmart has been an amazing mouse. Replaced my reliable and still going G5 with it. Durable, easy to clean, tons of buttons. I never have used the software...just the basic USB mouse driver Windows and Ubuntu provide...so I can't make mention of macros or programmable button options. But for anything I've used it for, I have been super impressed. I have yet to find a mouse around $35 that can compete. I have owned it for over a year and had no issues with it at all, no letdowns, nothing has gone wrong with it. It has all the features of a solid gaming mouse, and I appreciate not needing proprietary drivers to make it work.

I picked up a Zowie FK1 a week ago and I have never in my life experienced a more accurate and solid sensor. This thing is awesome. Zero acceleration, 3310 is a perfect sensor (1:1 accuracy, no errors), DPI goes from 400 - 3200 in 4 steps, polling rate adjustable. In online FPS games I feel noticeably more responsive and score higher than with any previous mouse (and I'm still getting used to it, even).

If you like more buttons, G400S is nice. If you like perfection and simplicity, Zowie.

Price range is similar. Build quality is unmatched.

Beware though this is a claw-grip gaming mouse. If you are a palm gripper, look elsewhere (Maybe EVO CL line from Zowie suits better then, similar design, similar quality).

The question must be asked.
What type of games? how do you grip your mouse? Palm or claw?
