please help. Asus EAX1950 Pro Want to know the location of Chip Bios.

I want to know the location of the Chip Bios Asus EAX1950 Pro that is where I saw Chip 8 legs are nowhere as many of them. Because it does more photos And without any bad when I plug into a PCIe slot, so I will try Connecting pins 1 and 8 will come together in the system.

Looks like the main GPU is toast if that picture is real. That = a dead card = replace. :toast:

Look for vbios chip: on the surface of the 8pin chip is inscribed/printed with its datasheet reference number Pm25LV010 [dot next to pin 1 with arrow pointing at it]
*Example:

Note: as other members of the TPU community have mentioned the VPU looks dead

I have sent a pm to a friend of mine as I have been unable to double check the chip reference number on any of the sites I use to locate datasheets, I assume due to the vga cards age.
I am fairly sure which chip it is but do not want to second guess the information; my friend or I will get back to you in due course and let you know either way.

None of the identifiable ones are the BIOS. It's possible that the top-right one in the last pic is the BIOS but the markings on it aren't searchable. That would make sense as none of the others are the BIOS and it's labelled as U2.

So I did a little more research. U2 is definitely the BIOS chip. Every other card from that generation for ATI used that location and U2 to label the BIOS chip.

Surin that core of that gpu is cracked. The electrical traces and transistors are not in tact anymore. Stop fooling yourself, Move on and Get a 3850 or 4670.
