Yeah, my 7970 is definitely struggling here and there for 1440p. It is pretty smooth though. I'm definitely getting a 390x or a GTX 980 before the year's end.

I have a 350r. really considering picking up the M50 as well, but not sure yet. Haven't had a chance to try racing yet, what with work, uni, and Destiny...

350R is definitely faster, but much more difficult to fly.

r_motionBlur 0 didn't work for me in user.cfg sadly. Bindable keys are definitely due in next update.

They did something to disable in game console.
You first need to add.

Con_Restricted=0

That will reenable the console I think.
Then here's some additional ones for you, you might consider using.

No, not at all. When the game is released you'll be able to buy everything with in game money. You could start with an Aurora, make enough money in the game and buy your Freelancer the way you want. But yes, you could pledge for one now and upgrade it in the persistent universe.

Can anyone else relate/expand on this? When Arena Commander first came out, the feel of moving a ship was basically completely wrong. Very sluggish, not smooth at all, and quite sporadic. Has this changed? One of the main reasons I don't play anymore.

Also got an error when downloading one of the last two patches. Now having to download them all again

I somehow missed this yesterday. You can update my Freelancer. I don't have an RSI MISC Freelancer(I don't think anybody does

), I have the MISC Freelancer [MIS].
Also, expect me to add a Mustang when they become available (September 30, I believe).

I think he means the button mappings. I'm waiting for programmable button mappings as well. It'll be nice to start flying with a stick.

Also @erocker, I now have the 300i

They keep changing shit and messing it up..lol.
Now for example they made the deadzone huge on controllers.
It makes flying very annoying.

Also buttons are still not mappable and I don't like getting comfortable, with schemes and sensitivites that aren't set in stone.

Need to update my Freelancer to the Freelancer MIS, my constellation to the Aquila and add in a Mustang Omega please

I have an M50 and 350r so am up for some racing when custom controls are in and private matches re-enabled

Finally had some time to race tonight - M50 feels great and I was getting lap times of around 1:10:90 which I'm pretty happy with. I then went into my 350R and there is something very wrong with the ship - between checkpoints 3 and 5 it's wobbling all over the place and getting forces applied from nowhere - a real fight to control. Not getting anywhere near good times in that at around 1:35:07 :/

Hopefully the 350R gets its wobble worked out then it will be a nice change to the M50 as the 350R's almost too fast for its own good.
