GPU-Z latest version.
Videocard: NVidia GeForce GTX670, 2 GB videoRAM.

Updated my video card drivers, with no restart of PC (not needed by driver update), and GPU-Z running.
Result: GPU-Z stopped showing proper values in some Sensors tab values (GPU Load went dead/etc).
Expected/feature suggestion: For GPU-Z monitor process to restart after the driver gets re-installed/updated (probably harder to do), OR maybe for GPU-Z to simply show an error/warning message: "Video card drivers have been updated, please restart GPU-Z!" or some such (should be easier to do).

Ya know a restart takes a few seconds on todays equipment vs a few minutes. So just restart and the trouble you are having should be fixed.

Ive always found 1 thing not working when a driver is updated but the os isnt restarted. A restart allows the os to fully write the code to the reg/system configuration and save it...

What thing is that exactly? It all works fine for me.
EDIT: If you mean "any driver", please note videocard drivers and any driver is not the same thing.

All games and software work just fine, and this has been the case with Nvidia GeForce driver updates for many months now (1 year+?).

This was a useless comment. I work as tech support and beta tester, and was giving a feature suggestion to improve GPU-Z, NOT asking for any help or counter-suggestions. Thank you.
EDIT: Yes, I have a fast PC and could even log out/re-login to Windows 7, which is faster than a reboot. But that is not the point here.

Thanks for the feedback. ;) What I suggested has probably been suggested before. That is for W1zzard to judge.
Please note I have suggested new features for GPU-Z before, and many of them have been implemented. ;)
Suggestion #2 is not that hard to implement, and I believe it will be a useful addition to an already almost perfect GPU-Z app. :) #1 is even better.

Yeah love when people state their title. Most tech support personnel dont know what goes on in the field, try to pass everything onto a field tech.

Although my father is an engineer by both education and trade, I have no idea about hardware tech support, maybe you are right regarding that. I only work with software, at least as far as my job goes. :) And have never seen a customer in the face - only work via email (no phone, no direct contact).
(I am interested in both software and hardware as a hobby, though.)

You never said what that 1 thing that fails to work for you after a video driver update is - please let us know.
