EVGA's store went into maintenance mode and is pretty much the only place to get these cards now.
Likely due to the fact they were in maintenance mode.
I just bought two GTX 980's.

Most of the cards are sold out but you can still get some here.

and people were saying PC gaming was dying. Wether you like nvidia/amd or amd/intel seeing these expensive products fly off the shelf is a great thing. I'll admit I helped with the r9 290 launch day shortage almost one year ago
