Please Help!!

OK, I have a brother, vietnam vet, that lives halfway across the country, in CA.

I am his guru, though I am not a guru.

I recently refreshed his OS. Before hand I copied all his GAMEHOUSE Games to his WD Passport, USB drive.

Now, I am in the process of setting this new OS up for his ease of use and uncluttered.

I made a new folder for him to copy his GAMEHOUSE GAMES, from his passport, into. Then when he has done what he wants, copy it back, to include his progress, then delete and bring over a different game...

The point being to free up his HDD and unclutter his file system.

Herein lies the problem.

On all of them! Either on the passport or copied onto his computer!

I sincerely, DEARLY, hope I did not inadvertently trash the hundreds of games and hundreds of dollars paid for them!!

Please Help!! Saturday, my next day off, is when I will be talking to him, again.

In case of lost games which are owned already, you can just dl a torrent of gamehouse games of what he owns.

Were these included on the machine by default as some pre-installed game manger? is it an HP per chance?

Not an HP. He is on a metered connection, most of the time. same speed as an 11g. To Torrent them may be an option but, I would prefer a solution, or at least an explanation.

I am sure that since it happened to all of them, it could be a simple fix?

He downloaded and paid for them himself over the last two+ years!

gamehouse games are a collection of flash/java based games
I would start there and ensure that java and flash are up2date as well as install the various runtimes they probly need ( C++ 2005/2008/2013 and 2013,DirectX
secondly you may need to run them as admin

it should be worth nothing that you can't just COPY a folder and expect it to run on a new machine
there are a lot of cases where you can do this .. this isn't one of those
O yea and install the latest dotnet while you are at it
and if its still missing something you can use

Dependencywalker gives me this....

One might notice the red x64's along with the missing .dll's Also, the notes at the bottom.

Ok, so can someone explain what to do next?

post a full dump of the output of depends to paste bin or something I need to see the whole thing
It looks like some dlls or .OCX files need to be registered under the new os using "regsvr32 filename"
gimme a screen shot of the program directory
if hes willing i may need to hop on teamviewer and sort it you need to locate what needs to be registered and manually do it

OS is 64 bit. 4 GB ram. It was 64 bit OS before, with 3GB RAM.

Plus, when I copy the Depends Module...It just lists the .DLL names, not the results.

OK, I saved the file and can copy it. But how do I post it here, for you?

you need to register the .ocx/dll.s in the program folder
really tho its only gamehouse if you search any torrent site I am sure you will find what you are missing and them some

the games aren't running because they some library ins't registered/missing dependswalker isn't gonna help you because they are being loaded by proxy
is http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632 installed
I need a list of all the files in the program directory to even begin to wonder whats lacking

.Net 4 is installed. The version he has on there was better than the Microsoft site download.
