B-b-but, then how would we be able to brandish our peripheral epeens if all those ghetto plebeians could afford it?!

On a more serious note, there have people clamoring for years for full RGB lighting on mechanical keyboards but the response was that there wasn't a way to fit three LEDs onto such keys. Now there is. So the price premium isn't unexpected. There are still plenty of (relatively) more affordable mechanical keyboards out there without the RGB lights bringing up the cost.

Also, it should be noted that the K70 RGB lacks the USB passthrough feature that the original K70 (non-RGB) had.

Have you noticed that their new gaming lineup is called 'Corsair Gaming', looks like no more 'Vengeance Gaming' from Corsair. I liked the Vengeance naming, oh well, small thing.

Really like Corsair mech keyboards but always fail to give full program-ability which i require would of been nice to see more keys added for a lefty too not just for a right handed person.

Looks awesome fails every were else for me.

In the "rainbow" effect wagon, I think Logitech is going the right way. With their new gaming mech keyboard. I mean they panted this new switches that are supposedly quieter than the "regular" switches. That has always been my main complaint about mech keyboards. It looks minor to some, but I find them rly loud.

IMO only blue switch is annoyingly loud.
