I'm looking for a GTA IV version 1.0.7.0 Trainer, I have installed and tried a few but they were probably for the Steam version. I have the game installed from DVD and those trainers did not work for me :(

Does anyone know a trainer that will work for me?

Not sure if I can post such on this forum but I will notice it if it gets deleted.

Not a fan of the series... but, if the usual game no-cd and trainer places do not have it, I do not either!

You need ANSI loader for the trainer to work. Are you sure you have the appropriate trainer for your version? (seems a bit odd that 1.0.7 is on a DVD) Do some more googling.I had no problems using a trainer.

No I dont have that version on DVD, when I installed it from DVD on my laptop it automatically updated the game to the latest version.
The trainers I find on the internet are loading fine and I get some sound when a cheat gets "activated" but the cheats don't get activated, they just don't work for some reason.
I downloaded several trainers for version 1.0.7.0 but no luck.
Some of the trainers were for the Steam version.

Edit: On my old pc I had no problem either with a trainer, but that was on version 1.0.2 at the time.

1: stop downloading trainers
2: Google GTAIV cheat codes
3: Enter codes into in-game cell phone.
4: Profit.

No "god" mode and if the police is chasing you you have to enter a cheat code on your cell phone, that does not work well in the game.

I can't believe people actually NEED a trainer for that game. Most of these one difficulty mode games are easy as pie to beat.

What's the point of even playing a game if you take what little challenge there is away with God mode? At that point the game is pretty much playing itself.

I personally don't want a challenge every time I play, god mode is for causing utter havok and doing silly jumps, so that you can get back up and do it again without the trip to the hospital.

All that really isn't hard without the cheats once you know where the ramps are and get the hang of driving the cars, trucks and motorcycles. I had quite a few shooting and stunt sprees just in the regular course of the game. And that being rarely visiting the hospital, which is pretty cheap anyway since you make so much money in this game.

They purposely make these kind of games only one difficulty mode to make them facilitate such things. There's always going to be those whom claim they need God mode though, no matter how long they've been playing.

Actually now no, they should not be needed however back when GTA was released ( and some time after ) and you tried have a good game and no ability to kick the assholes off for actually using cheats was a very good reason to use one which came typically with a ramp mod too which was awesome.

Maybe so, but I'm pretty sure they're referring to just goofing around in sp, and nothing to do with mp.
