Road Redemption takes place in a post-apocalyptic America, ruled by a brutal dictator. Without telling anyone, your gang leader has decided to head to the capital on a desperate assassination attempt. When the government catches him, the consequences for your gang, and everyone you know and love, will be devastating.

It's up to you and your fellow gang members to race across hundreds of miles of dangerous highways in order to track down your derelict leader before the government does. What you do next is up to you. Do you try to stop him in order to protect your family and friends from punishment, or do you join him in a risky attempt at ending the oppression once and for all?

If you've ever played Road Rash and loved it, you will feel right at home here. This game is awesome. They just got it Greenlighted on Steam Early Access. There was a Kickstarter a while back which amassed over $170k which I pledged $40 to. With this came with a guest key that I think I decided I was going to give away on here. Either way, I am now!

I won't make any real rules to the competition, but feel free to amuse me if you want. I will however limit it to people that have been here for a year and have at least 50 posts..I think that is reasonable considering most we have in this section that contribute regularly. Contest will end at the end of this week and I'll pick a winner Saturday night or Sunday. So until I say when, you can enter freely.

There have been many many times I would like to carry a bat with me and knock the sh!t out of others on the road!!!

This would probably be a great release of frustration.

I used to play Road Rash at the Electronics Boutique in the mall on a 3DO machine they had setup many many years ago. Since then the 3DO has gone extinct, Electronics Boutique has been taken over, and that mall I used to visit was demolished and a Wal-Mart took its place.

An updated Road Rash? I never thought this would come back with the prevalence of people just doing the same thing in GTA IV/V, but I am SO happy it has. Trying to win a race by whacking your opponents off their bikes and dodging their attacks, I actually made a friend just because he had a SEGA and this game. Is there a Co-Op mode like there was in Road Rash? I'm totally on board either way

You can play with 4 player local splitscreen I THINK - it has the option to enter when you start the 'campaign' with 4 people so I assume you can. They are also doing online but I am not sure how far that is off. It's a blast so far though. I was initially disappointed when they released the first alpha a few months back but it has come a VERY long way in a short period of time. Can't wait until the finished product.

Count me in. I played Road Rash series on Genesis and despite the frame rate they were quite enjoyable and very fun to play over and over again. I like me some heart-warming, tear-inducing nostalgia.
