You can play all of them on those specs. WoW is standard, but it's sort of boring these days.

Tera Online is cool. Better grafics than WoW and free to play - when you pay you get bonuses but you can start free and see if you like to pay later.

Let me be the first one to recommend Age of Conan. Really good looking although it's 5 years old. Fun to play, mature and out of the ordinary... also free to play and still buggy-ish, but it's worth it.

WoW is much more popular but I tried it and didn't really like it. I did enjoy Guild Wars 2 for a while. It breaks the holy trinity though so you might not like that.

I'm more partial to Rift.... supports addons, did a good job of providing a bonus for the stupid-accomplishment whores, different roles for each toon... I enjoy it, when I find time :)

I mainly play Lord of the Rings Online. Very good if your into LotR, as it is an 8-year old game. But the visuals are decent and you can play for free to see how you feel about it. If you like it, I suggest going subscription for 3 months as it's only $30 then and unlocks a lot of perks, which you keep even if you stop paying.

Did Elder Scrolls Online for two months. Was a very 50/50 game for me. The visuals are stunning and the voice acting is great as it's done by Kate Beckinsale, John Cleese, Malcom McDowell, and others. I like the synergy between crafting and boss drops which is that the best gear are drops from group dungeons that are upgraded by a craft, making both aspects important. The biggest draw is the AvAvA map which holds ~2000 players; your alliance vs the other two. The downsides are that after the eye and ear candy, the game-play is a kinda flat. The UI is hated by many, myself included. Guild stores are poor substitutes for a server-wide auction house and some bugs discovered in *early beta* that were not fixed by the time the game was released really destroyed the economy early-on. That left a bad taste because all along Zenimax has been boasting about their high-quality development because it was a game that you both bought and subscribed. Overall thoughts: if you only had to subscribe and didn't have to buy the game ($60 or $80) then I would recommend it as a way to get your Elder Scrolls fix until VI comes out. Otherwise, you have to really like every aspect at the game for it to be worth the money.

What I am enthusiastically looking forward to: http://www.archeagegame.com/en/

It's in closed beta now and I haven't tried it yet, but from what I've seen I like every bit of it! :D I will be buying either the $50 or $100 pack to get 4-day headstart, credits, and patron status along with the other goodies. There's just too much to this game to lay it all out in one post.

I liked Age of Conan when I played it before it was F2P. It was pretty fun. I played it when it was F2P and it was just about the exact same as far as what I did and went through and all. I would recommend trying it.

Tera actually surprised me at how good it was. I went in expecting a shitty F2P MMO and it was a nice change from WoW.

It seems suuuuper nerdy but DnD Online is still a pretty good MMO, it really reminded me of when I was new to RPGs and I just had so much fun in the world. It's a bit of pay for power, but not so much that it will stop you from having fun.

Guildwars 1 or 2...

GW1 is pretty much dead though but you dont exactly need actual players to run through the campaigns as they give you Ai companions which are half decent.

GW2 is more like an entirely new game thats based on the same lore of GW1 so if you havent played GW1 then you wont hate it like most people do. I played GW2 for two weeks and never went back to it but then again I did always prefer the GW1 system more.

Western and Korean MMO are so linear.

EVE Online is the only MMO to ever deliver a true sandbox experience. there is nothing else like it and it will probably outlive us all lol

Because even as a F2P I haven't had a problem yet with labor points? Though, that could be from spending most of the time in the queue and not being able to spend them :) (queue may have gotten better, haven't had the time to play since last week)

the problem I have with these games is that none of them ever deliver a true sandbox experience and make the player feel empowered. all these games are designed to keep the dopamine going so you spend more money on expansions or microtransactions. it's like playing a watered down Bioware RPG.

Well it kinda depends if you like action, grinding, fantasy life or what. I know (this is gonna sound bad) Nexon has a few "decent" games. I'm personally addicted to Mabinogi due to the point that I'm able to do more damage than most people my level. It's an anime-based game so eh.
