So I have a partition ready for Win10 but my question is will I still be able to access my other partitions once Win10 is installed? I keep hearing about the "recovery partition won't be able to be used" and I'm wondering if Win10 just doesn't play nice or if I'm good to go.

If you want to try out Win 10, download VMWare player and install in a VM, its easier to blow it off if you don't like it, rather than messing with partitions and boot manager.

I like going into full detail with operating systems and I like seeing how well it runs on my hardware.

Don't really know, i installed it on my second PC because of same question that you have, it should not mess up other stuff on PC but im just not brave enough, i do some of the work from job on my primary PC and i would not risk it with "beta OS", but also as i remember i had all previous Windows "demo/preview" on my PC and it never did anything wrong!?

I probably should wait then for the official release to get it and play with it.

Well on my second PC i don't have any sensitive data as i deleted the whole disk for sake of "preview" install, but if there are more people interested in this i can fill partitions with data and re-install "Win 10"?!

EDIT: I read the whole "Win 10 official" thread here on forum and 99% says its working super, only that you cant revert your "Win 10 OS" to previous OS, you will need to re-install it or if you have multi-boot just remove "Win 10", so it pretty much secure but if you have really sensitive data i would back it up anyways!?
