for me its under the advanced cpu settings. where you can set throttling, if the CPU is allowed to use enchanced halt steps to lower power consumption even more. among other things etc

ill post some screen shots tomorrow of the bios if you need.

Nah....had the same problem with mine.
Bought a H110 and a Corsair SP120 fan for cooling the VRM and some Coollaboratory Liquid Ultra...
Runs like a charm now.........

Just wanted to chime in that I have hit over 65* on my 8320 without it crashing, now on the other hand when my VRM heatsink gets to about 70* it does crash.
TLDR that CPU is killing your boards VRM's , its a common issue with 220w cpu's.

It crashes with VRM temperature protection turned off as well. My CPU was able to reach 65 degrees C with VRM temp protection disabled. Also the box fan didn't help.

Hmm i wonder if you could take the vrm hs off and reapply them, maybe add a hs to the back of the mobo.

this is a good idea. the VRM on my mobo is very well cooled. the heatsink fins are thin and dense, there is a heat pipe, the whole thing is screwed in and on top of that there is a 40mm fan which i have replaced with a better aftermarket one from frozencpu.

Yes they should and also voltage. The more volts applied the harder those vrms gotta work, better cooling for the vrms mean better clocks, 9xxx models were really meant for ln2 setups. I guess you replaced the 8350 because it wouldnt go past 4.7?

Rig a fan (120mm whatever you got) to blow on those heatsinks on the left. Those are the vrm and northbridge.

Go the other way, try 1.375v. Also, can you post a screenshot of CPU-Z and CoreTemp? CoreTemp should tell you your VID, which is the minimum voltage AMD wants the chip to run at when it is at full speed. Usually they error a little on the high side, so you can set the voltage a notch or two lower than the VID and save your VRMs.

Also, make sure you have both CPU power plugs plugged in. There is an 8-Pin and a 4-Pin near the CPU socket. To run a 95XX processor in that board you need both plugged in, or the plug could actually overheat as well.

The 9590 is 4.7/5.0GHz from the factory, so they are definitely factory overclocked 8350s which are only 4.0/4.2GHz from the factory.

You can use small metal right angle L brackets on your back top case exhaust fan to mount another 120mm fan that fires onto the mobo's vrm area.

Cooling the back of the socket might help with stability too.

Interestingly enough I am not using the 4 pin power connector. I'm new to that so let me plug that in and see if it helps.
