Max turbo speed is 2.2Ghz, windows says max speed is 1.5Ghz, and yet at idle, windows is running at 50% CPU usage at 1.74Ghz?
I have no idea what I'm looking at.

GOODNESS. LOL.

I have the overclock set to 2.2ghz and while k10stat and Speccy say it's running at max overclock, Task Manager is either extremely slow or just doesn't know how to read clocks correctly. So while Task Manager is saying the throttle is down to 1.6ghz, my laptop is actually just about to shut down due to the overclock still running at max 2.2ghz.

My laptop is a bad apple as I see people hitting 2.4ghz AND playing BF3. I'm lucky if my laptop doesn't overheat at 1ghz on BF3.

( I'm talking about the same exact laptop with the same exact APU in it )

You detached the fan from the heatsink. The space between the two gets filled with dust and blocks the airflow.

Maybe It's time make a custom heatsink

Oh god, making a heatsink would probably end in sparks and smoke. I'm horrid at creating although I could maybe mod it to where the fan pushes more airflow to the heatsink.

and yes windows task manager is not a effective way of measuring clock speed we went over this in one of your 6 other threads about this laptop
its overheating because the cooler is in-sufficient those coolers are made to cool the cpu@stock and just BARELY keep it it from throttling you where told this before
