A week ago, my mother called me and told me her computer was acting a little erratic. I ran every scan that I could think of. The system comes back clean. She informed me that it only happens when her PC has been on for quite some time. So I decided to check the temps. Some components are running a little hot, but the CPU doesn't report a temperature. Is that even common? I was wondering if a BIOS up date would be able to correct the issue. Her computer is approximately 3-4 years old. I believe it could be time for some more thermal paste.
