my PSU is this one

alright this is my PSU:

costs 109 € at the moment for a that PSU i bough 2 years ago only droped 20 €

its a Chieftec Super Series CFT-650-14CS 650W

http://www.chieftec.eu/images/stori...-14cs/files/CFT-650-14CS_PSU-DATASHEET-EN.pdf

I Think that it is ok what you guys think ?

PS: i have it for 2 1/2 years never, like never gave me a single problem

That PSU should work fine, I don't like how it has quad 12v rails. I believe that design allows each PCI-e power output a dedicated 12v rail, you should be golden. It has 6+6(+2), so you will use 6+8 on your new GPU and run with it. Enjoy.

It appears to be fine from what little I looked into it, if it has treated you well thus far I see no reason to replace it. :toast:

I'd go Giga and OC that sucker. Amp Extreme is clocked a bit higher, but I've heard of BIOS problems when OCIng, and it has only a 2 yr warranty. Save the $40, get a 3 yr warranty, probably better OCing equaling or better the performance, and more peace of mind support wise.

Don't go by clocks alone. I've seen the Giga up against cards clocked higher and it outperforms. Yeah I know you say you don't want to OC, but the Giga is very easy to OC, even with no voltage bump it does well.

Agree. But I think amp extreme is also a nice 970.
