The "FLICKER", Only with one game

Been doing my reading before i posted this, i see the two main threads here

I would rather not do all this risky changes before getting some advice and if they would even help with my problem, i have taken 6 pics from gpu z if you
could look at them and give any help would be appreciated.

As in title only problem i have is with league of legends i play WoW, CS,GO A-Creed, Skyrim on all ultra settings. The fps drops so much my minions or character actually disappear.

my guess is lol isnt taxing the GPU enough, so its dropping clocks. I have this issue with SOSE.

Grab radeon pro, make a profile and force 3d clocks or up AA enough to keep it taxed.

i might be useful to mention i have a Asus VG248QE 144hz screen and it is operating at 144hz in the options, i also have a ben Q 60hz duel screen. The monitor is new i have been having this problem since before then

can you confirm clocks are dropping durring lol games?

All the pics i posted are during playing league , i dont know what they mean but we can see that GPU load and GPU core clock seem to spike alot. Mnn i just noticed that VDDC current in/out power in/out all seem to do so aswell at the same points

it the whole graph from lol? or is some of it on desktop?

the load will spike, just its nature, but if the clocks are going up and down that means its downclocking.

Download Radeon Pro, and create a profile for lol. Go to the Overdrive tab and set the clocks to stay at max.

see if that helps.

RP is an invaluable tool for many things, no one should own a Radeon and not use it.

Yes the whole graphs are taken from i loaded into the actual game. Cool il try it now was just reading about it after you said

Is this similar to using AMD Overdrive in CCC, is one more effective than the other

RP is better, because you can do it on a per game basis rather than globally.

You really only want to do that on games that dont tax the GPU.

I do it on Sins of a solar Empire, otherwise it drops to minimum clcoks and my FPS tank...

Plus there are other goodies in there like Triple buffering, SMA, FXAA, SweetFx, Dynamic Frame Control, Profile Aliasing, AA Profile overrides, CPU Affinities, etc...

Basically a lot of things AMD chose not to expose in the CCC

just click that second check box, it will do it for you.

Also make sure that when the game runs, that launcher is the correct .exe, and it doesnt load a different one.

If it does just add the new one to the trigger tab in aliases.

dont forget to check the main .exe after it starts (tab out and check task manager) as i doubt thtas the main .exe

dnt know if u play league but thiers like 7 so i just used task manager and picked them all, its def working as clocks arent dropping and fps is being shown on the top left in game which is wierd i presume i can just turn that off.
The game is still flickering though the fps drops from 160 to 20 etc just all random numbers, could it just be leauge at this stage on thier end?

Yes, you can turn of the OSD, or add other sensors if you wish.

make a video so i can see the flickering you are refering to.

also, turn on triple buffering in the tweaks tab, that may help with the fps drops.

Also, dont just add everything to the aliases, god knows what some of those do. Post a screenie of task manager, and ill point out the correct one.

I have a short video il have to upload it later, just working atm. ok lol il take them out im sure which one it is now anyway
