They put out a patch earlier that helped with the matchmaking a bit. I played a couple rounds. I think the monster is to OP personally. Too fast, you can barely catch up with it and when you do it just Insta-Stomps you.

Damn this game is pretty fun. I don't think the monster is OP unless you have crap teammates, and with the game being brand new, of course most are. I just raped a team as the monster, I ended up killing them a couple times each before finally evolving and getting the power core. Was down to 1 health bar and killed the medic and just went for it, ended up getting it. Defeated the monster with a team before and I THINK the monster got us in one game but not sure. If you're getting 'insta-stomped' by the monster, your team probably sucks. One game we locked him in the arena a couple times and killed him one of the times because we dealt so much damage, I think I got the last shots as he was running away. The monster HAS to be over powered a little bit - because he is a one man army. A good team that finds him quickly and keeps on his ass can easily take him down.

So far this game is awesome.

When I played it threw me into the game as the monster and didn't give any explanation of what to do. So of course I got raped easily.

Every time I started a game, it gave me an overview of the class I was playing. I've only done assault and monster so far, and a little bit of support?, but when I started a fresh one I got overviews.

So as a G19 user I get treated to quite the light show. I usually run mine Blue so needless to say I freaked out a bit when I fired up the game it my keys all turned Red and my LCD lit up Red as well. I thought that was pretty cool. But WAIT there's more! It actually changes to the colour of the classes as well. I mean I have never seen my Keyboard Green or Yellow or Red for that matter. Pretty neat use of my tech I must say.
The LCD displays Dropship timer, Match Timer, Evolve Timer not the most verbose I have had in a game but it made up for it with the cool light show!

To solidify my thoughts on the monster not being OP, earlier I played a game as him. Within five minutes I was trapped by the team and they laid into me real good. Got away with a little over half health, tried to feed as much as I could but couldn't navigate this level all too well. They caught me again and though I killed/incapped at least one (pretty sure two), they ended up getting me pretty easily. It is hard to play the monster against a team that is any kind of good.

I've had a really good time playing it. Hopefully they will have beta soon, and last longer than 3 days. I've only had a few issues, but other than that the game is really good as is.

EDIT: I've already started playing around with the config file.

It has some good moments, when people come together and work as a team..but then I think about how simplistic it really is and the fact that coming together and some simple strategy isn't all that difficult. It really highlights how dumbed down online games have become.
I am sure they'll improve it, but if they don't change the pattern of : monster run, eat, hide, run, eat, hide, evolve > attack hunters then it will get repetitive.

The real let down was friend inviting didnt work on PC.
