Well here is what I choose at the price you provided €462.79 : http://es.pcpartpicker.com/p/sLTw8d

There motherboard has been changed to something better, CPU-Cooler was also slightly upgraded, and the case got a little downgrade but still has lots to offer.

Overclocking that G3258 should be fun.

Edit: What you had in mind was already pretty good, I just cleaned it up a little.

oc'd the G3258, is fun, so i will spoil the party... 4Ghz guaranteed (1.112volts) and possibly 4.4Ghz (1.238) thats what i was able to achieve with my two g3258 respectively...

BTW, the G3258 gets a "quiet" HSF included... (not the whiney monsters that gets included with the i3-4330) so, since you are on an extreme budget, drop it. and get dual channel RAM. Dual channel RAM is a must!
and you might by able to get away with the PSU supplied with the case (or get a case with the psu supplied... while the PSU might be junk, the system will be only drawing a max of about 150 (furmark+prime95), so you are not stressing it. so you might be able to drop the PSU.

remember you only want to game at 1280x1024... if you have any future dreams of a better monitor, get a 4 core intel, keep the PSU, and HSF etc... but now ypu are looking at a 50% increase in cost.

a little bit OT, and forgive me... so i am going to "duck and cover" when i say this... perhaps a PS4 might be a better idea... (if you are planning on "only buying your games") ...

although a i3-4330 has less problems...

My brother plays at 1080p on a a10 5800k just fine. He mostly plays tf2 or minecraft but gets 60+ fps. At that resolution an apu would only go further.

minecraft is about as graphic as a dos game, and tf2 well even a 6-7 year old gpu could run it at 1080p 60fps.

Suddenly everyone favors APUs.

its cause $ for the build and cause rez will only be 1280x1024 it will be best option for it.

That is what I said, but restated in a different way. Also, minecraft for what it is is surprisingly performance hogging. Tf2 runs better than minecraft.

Here are the specs of my friends pc.

Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Desktop Li 3745-006

CPU
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 @ 2.50GHz 34 °C

Storage
596GB Western Digital WDC WD6400AAKS-07A7B0 ATA Device (SATA) 26 °C
Optical Drives
HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH40N ATA Device

There are some good news.
HDD is a WD 640 SATA-II 3.0Gb/s
Can't say anything about the psu.
**Update on PSU**

ATX PSU Connectors 24 pin, 4 pin 12V, 6 pin PCI Express

Micro ATX Case

And now a very important question.
The motherboard has a pci-express 16x slot.
Is an option to invest just in a graphics card (and maybe a psu) and save the rest of the money for the future to make a complete rig?

His main objective is Final Fantasy XIII.
Also RPG's and some indie games.

I would just upgrade the video card and power supply honestly, then save up for real parts. That PC isn't useless by any means, and it may bottleneck the 750 Ti, but the platform can be upgraded later.

Forget the apu. That is a c2d quad. Just throw a new gpu in there. A 750ti would be perfect.

It probably wouldn't. See my build as an example. Faster, plus he can upgrade it later.
apus have come a long way since they were launched. they are certainly more than enough for gaming.

also keep that delta PSU. i too had an acer machine with a delta PSU, they were really great. i had a 250W that could push to near double that!

Buy 4GB of ram(although 8GB of DDR2 is too much, but dual channel gives you a bit better memory performance) to go dual channel and a beefier GPU and he is all set. That is a 9500GT he has in there probably DDR2 too. My 9500GT was pretty epic though good at oc and DDR3. The time of that has past however.

apus have come a long way since they were launched. they are certainly more than enough for gaming.

I know. But they're still a lot slower than the HD 6750, which is a HD5750. Not bad cards ... but not exactly good these days either. For the price of a A10 7700k (without motherboard) you can here get a new Pentium G3220, new motherboard and at least a used GTX550ti or a GTX460 ... maybe even a GTX 650. In my eyes the APU's that are worth it are rarely worth it.

At this point though, yes, drop a new GPU in there and he'll probably be fine.

+1
Just add a new power supply(if any problems with the older one) and a new Graphics card.
Get a cheap SSD and an extra 4GB RAM if you have some cash left.

That GPU would be a good match for the system, so long as it works properly. I ran a GTS 450 on the stock 305w power supply in a Dell Dimension E520 with a high wattage Intel X6800 dual core processor, and the PSU probably hated me for running the entire system at full load 24/7 for nearly a year, but it survived.
