Alright guys so heres an update on the situation, I've done the APM pcie setting, the EPU settings and installed win 7(not sure if relevant) and so far no hiccups, done about a dozen power cycles and everything seems stable, also did 2x 15min burn in tests and everything passed.

Both the 500w and 750w resulted in the same experience so I can switch back to the 750w right? (cx500w/tx750w v2)

You guys have been amazing, thanks for all the patience and help so far.

NO its not a windows issue why WHY do people always think this? Can you please explain? I absolutely cannot stand stuff like this. Please explain to me the logic behind. my motherboard has a RED led and the system will not post but when I flip the switch on the back it work again it must be windows...

use a tree diagram if possible.

Different experiences with all 3 installations with win 7 being the one where i had the least lockups etc, it was an off the head question at 430am with not much put into it after a frustrating 9hrs of troubleshooting. I was willing to look at all possibilities as small as it may have been

awesome so i swapped it back, did an overclock of 4.5 @1.275 vCore and some stability testing and everything seems solid, thanks again guys.

keep the voltage under 1.3V bear in mind that haswell chips will automatically add 0.1v under extreme load or when using intensive AVX make sure you account for that
short bursts of >1.3V is not gonna hurt anything but you start pushing past 1.34 sustained and you start doing damage

Old school cheap fix: Wipe your drive and reinstall Windows from scratch. Maybe it works. Maybe not. But costs you nothing but time.
