What I read is because Fairfight banned a ton of cheaters, so this is there payback.

Anyone know how to get the bow with eod bot ?
I read some are bypassing all the bs to get the bow not sure how though.

You can search servers that are only running that map just to unlock the Bow.
Trying to find a map of where the DT's are located.

True. I personally just installed all the new expansions 2 nights ago. So far the ones I have played have been cool. The final stand ones. Gotta check out this bow.

No, they're getting banned because they've been doing this for a while (flag running, padding, etc).

When I ran my server for the first 6 months of BF4, I did a lot of what could be called flag running just trying to get the server going. Never once have I been kicked of banned by fair fight for such activities. They're (more than likely) being kicked/banned because this is not something recent they were doing. As long as this is not something that you've been doing recently (flag running, padding, etc) then you've got nothing to worry about.

By the way, people were saying the same thing when everyone was looking for either the first phantom assignment password or the second one (can't remember).

I wasted 2 hours looking for the tags. Found nothing, and neither did anyone else. It's complete waste of time. And from what I heard, the bow kind of sucks.

The only real advantage to a bow that I see is the silence of it....

And if its not like the bow in Crysis 3 then its a bust. Custom arrow tips ftw.

FYI, arrows are better against normal Kevlar vests than bullets. You can shoot most vests with anything a .30 and under and it will not penetrate. It will also stop slower moving projectiles like slugs or pistol rounds. The way a Kevlar vest works is by dispersing the kinetic energy through out the vest. Its not like its hard and dense enough to take the impact.

So with that being said an arrow is FAR more deadly than a bullet. It doesn't rely on kinetic energy or expansion. It cuts to penetrate. Kevlar is basically a dense fabric. Arrows pass right through most "bullet proof" vests unless they use ceramic plating. A good crossbow doesn't seem so stupid now does it?

But this is Battlefield, and not real life. Running and shooting an AK74u is vastly quicker and easier

Um....they still use crossbows in certain situations and Kevlar is what most vests are made from.

Crossbow =/= bow. Also not everyone on every battlefield is fortunate enough to have kevlar.
