ok so as the holidays are coming up and since i had to miss the Black Friday deals i'm looking to get myself a decently powered Gaming laptop
price range would be 7-800 usd
i could go a bit higher... but i really wanna keep it around there as it won't be my main machine that i use
(i have a uber desktop that i use for major gaming)
the specs i'd like are as followed

8-12gb ram (16 would be nice but if that jacks the price up too high then 8-12 is fine)
i5-i7 intel processor (or amd equivalent)
not sure what a good integrated GPU would be but as long as i can play my games on at least medium - high i'd be content with that :D
1tb HDD (will settle for 750 but 1tb is preferred)
full hd screen (will not go less than 1080p)

umm i think i covered all the specs...
now i need someone to point me in the right direction
or if any of you have a better solution by all means tell me
thanks as always in advance!

Also check out gaming laptops junky's website, he reviews tons of laptops in that price range and keeps his information pretty current.

Something you need to consider is screen size as well and some laptops you can slap a really good quality lcd panel in for under $100 too.

8GB Ram should suit you for most gaming needs. I wouldn't get less than an NV GTX 850m, and I'd aim for the 9xxm series if you can manage. The 8xxm series is great though fwir, but the 9xxm series is even better and more efficient. To get an i7, good GPU, 1GB HDD, and 16GB of RAM, you might want to increase your budget to $1000 for something of better quality if possible. Good luck on your search though, keep us posted!
