Looking for a lightweight PDF reader

I used Adobe Reader for years. I eventually got pissed at it for the piece of crap abomination of a software it became, and switched to Foxit. It has tons of features I don't need, weird GUI, and just moments ago I learned they bundled adware/malware with one of their previous versions. I don't care they don't anymore, I won't support such company.

Right now I'm looking for something simple, fast, reliable, without too many pointless features, because I can't really imagine what else might one need besides reading and printing PDF files

Any tips welcome.

Google Chrome works really well, it's not really lightweight but it's reliable and you likely already have it open

Oh yes I forgot to mention I am interested in freeware, or at least something that doesn't bug me with notices about buying it etc. The most important thing is: no ads in any shape or form. No limited trials or whatever.

In most cases, the two (freeware and no advertising) are mutually exclusive.

That actually looks interesting. Opensource and free. Actually, speaking of free, I don't have a problem buying software if the price is reasonable (for what it does and what I need), but there are very often too many buts.

Sumatra is awesome, plus it opens djvu files too. Reader in Windows 8/10 is crap
