Why the hell worlds largest HDD makers aren't in any hurry to make SSD drives? Everyone else makes them, just not them. Apart from those old server drives. One would expect them to deliver something by now...

They are obviously aware of SSDs. If they can, they will make and sell SSD. They know if SSD become cheaper than HDD their business is probably over.Normal SSD's with SATA3 and not some SAS drive...
