4770k and uber cards

So I've been thinking I'm gonna get my finances straight and I'm gonna buy to uber cards like 2 of the next titans. Will the 4770k still perform for really really high end cards? I know it's hard to say because we have nothing like that now. Closest I can assume would be sli Titan Zs? I'm OCed to 4.4 now but I think may have to get AIO for higher and it would still be 4K.

I don't see any games/content stressing my 4770k really anymore.
AFAIK as long as you are running that, I wouldn't even consider upgrading.
The bottleneck doesn't seem to be the cpu anymore lately.
Seems to be the gpu if anything, from what I can tell.

So from what I can tell, yes the 4770k will still perform for high end cards.

I've seen people plop an i7 in with quad SLI/XFIRE setups and run everything with either the game or the GPUs be the weak point.

The Cpu bottleneck is almost an old history, big weakness of a Machine is the GPU and that is why when we want to upgrade CPU and GPU in first place is the GPU, even my 3770k would be ok for the GPU mentioned.

1+ yep. It will take three cards to even come close to choking that CPU
