it was xmas of 93 or 94
suddenly i woke up in the middle of the night, i was living with parents in 1 room, so i was seriously puzzled - TV was on.
few words: we had i think 17-19" and it impressed like 106" our days)
so, TV was on and my dad was seating right ahead it.but kinda of magic music was there, havent heard it earlier
S-L-O-W-L-Y on the prowl i was getting closer and closer(my heart was beating realy hard)
i was very frightened of being caught, cause dad will make me go to sleap and i still got no clue what was going on(curiosity even now makes me very uncomfortable when i dont understand smthg happening-what, why etc.),
it was realy fascinating (first time i saw gaming irl - not in cartoons/films)
after i reached my dad, he noticed me)
he was surprised that i havent slept, acting disinterestedness he explained me the magic that surrounded me
it was sega 32bit with golden axe 3(yeah, nowdays it's not so colorful and realistic but that day..)
dad asked for help and all the night we were playing that game
that xmas i thought i could never be happier)

thats all, folks, now i got wife and we're planning children(but sometimes i'm still that little boy with belief in miracles)

Yeah, had to look it up too. Thought it may have been something like the Vectrex.

Lol.....I loved that thing. Pit fall, burgertime, frogger, I actually found an old audio cassette recording of Me and My brother asking for it from like '80 or there about's. By the way, thanks for the opportunity to win some goodies, and remember some OLD gifts, merry christmas.

Not a very interesting story, but I got my first computer for xmas. A brand spanking new Amstrad CPC 464 with 64k of memory. I still remember the first game I played. After about 2 minutes of screeching tape (think 56k model sounds) it loaded up. The game was animal, vegetable, mineral and was pretty cool for a 6 year old kid. Though my favourite game was one called target renegade. Kinda like double dragon, but 2x better. I spent many a weekend in the shed with a friend playing that, just trying to get a little further. There were no save games for most games back then, so every game had to be started from the beginning.

I remember the sound of my old Amstrad quite fondly too. Still have it too (excuse the liquid paper; it got stored somewhere for many years so looks a bit battered). Thanks for sharing!
