Yes i know i have already posted a question like this a little while back, but tomorrow i'm actually getting everything. and i have made a few choices and things now i just want a final opinion from the members of the forum. Seriously, i wont re-post this again.
CPU: i5 4690
Mobo: Asus H97-Plus

Gpu: Asus GTX 970 Strix

this is what my latest decision is, should any changes be made?
Use: Games such as : advanced warfare cod,bf4,AC Unity, bioshock infinite and some ancient games and emulators and stuff.
surfing, watching movies, anime, and stuff like that. i'd like to play the games on ultra with AA on and everything. i'd like to read your opinions.

Seems solid build , in my opinion change the cpu to 4460 and get ssd if you can.

edit: 4460 with wd blue + ssd(240-256gb like the mx100 - ocz arc) its the same amount of cost.

It's fine configuration really and if I were pressed to change something for the sake of it I'd get a better PSU (although this one's good enough) and a gigabyte board (I have brand preferences with motherboards).

Oh and is there any difference between a displayport and a mini display port (displayport to minidp)?

No difference between mini display and display, any $2 cable would work, most monitors such as yours would have DVI, pretty common cheap cables out there and same quality.

With that said, I'd switch that monitor for a 144Hz monitor or a 1440p monitor then you can call that a gaming pc :)

Other than that, you could come some corners with the CPU

Getting an SSD (if budget allows) is a must
