PC wont boot up (No POST, No Video)

Yesterday,After checking the ASUS memory compatibility chart, I have concluded that I should buy RAM based off that chart. (Which is what I've done) My new stick of RAM will be here tomorrow.

down to cpu or PSU, or not hooking up front header switches correctly.

PSU is fine, also I definitely made sure that I put in the CPU correctly. As for the switches, the motherboard came with a small tool that helped me correctly connect the switches to the board.

With a bad attitude like that he's probably better off without you insisting you are right!
Apart from the Ram, I would say the PSU is suspect, and probably the main suspect.
Rosewill are not a good brand, never have been, they are cheap for a reason. Being one of the main components in your system, and affecting how your system operates, it should be quality not price that dictates what you install.

It's very rare to actually have incompatible RAM. The memory compatibility charts for motherboards are only of a limited number of DRAM that are tested initially, and MB manufacturers rarely update them. And of them, I've found ASUS to be one of the laziest.

Personally, I have found a brand that works in every single motherboard I have tested, and their modules are rarely on any compatibility list. That brand? Mushkin.

I don't even check those lists anymore. So, rather than a compatibility problem, my money is on either the RAM, CPU or PSU to be the problem, since you have switched out the MB.

Certain Rosewill models have one of the big names as their oem so I'd suggest you do some reading and pick your words wisely or break your fingers.

Yup this here, only ram I found out to stay away from for my board was Corsair Vengeance Ram.

FYI... I did read your post and saw you mentioned the PSU, and in my opinion it is still the likely cause as Rosewill are a POS regardless of who supplies components for them. p.s. lose the attitude and less people will turn to other forums.

Aren't we being a little harsh? I know I can't be the only other person on this forum to have skipped checking the official memory compatibility list when building a computer. Had I been in the same situation and followed the same steps I would have thought I got a bum board too, regardless of whether or not the memory was on that list.

Usually start with the cheapest solution first, but it really REALLY helps to have a PC on spare to test failure in parts, especially when a POST doesn't occur. Usually if a POST *beep* isn't heard you can sum in down to the motherboard and all parts *associated* with it (I.E the RAM, CPU). Remember the first in a POST is itself, followed by the CPU. This is as far as general knowledge can go. Start snooping around and dig into it.
