Older parts might be more expensive since they're not being produced anymore. What's your budget?

Additionally, theft is a crime. If you know who did it and where they live, I would get the police involved. Theft is not acceptable in any way, shape, or form.

No you can usually get a 920 setup for about 100-130. My budgets around that. Cheaper the better. Also there's nothing I can do about it. Trust me....I wouldn't just let my rig go. But really this is info that I'd like to keep private but I appreciate your concern :)

Most X58 boards sell for over 100 USD now because of their short supply. For people who are going to help you, they need to know a budget so they know what to recommend or sell you, I'm sorry you don't feel comfortable but that's how it works. Also 130 is a tight budget. I would get a cheap FM2+ APU and cheap memory to get started. Unfortunately none of the hardware I have I would be willing let go for that little. May I suggest these parts more or less, but your budget is a rough.

Either way, you're probably going to have a real hard time finding an i7 setup at that price point, regardless of generation.

Lol. Stop looking at eBay for your price quotes. I paid 180 in june for a x3440 and p55 ud6 plus ripjaws. Just cuz you wouldn't sell for that dosent mean other people won't

p55 would be cheaper than 1366 these days.
eh.. IMO it doesn't have as much oomph either though
How about a g3258 + H81 mobo?
I mean..even crappy p6ts are hard to find for less than $200 on ebay :(

P55 is fine the only thing x58 has over it is triple channel ram but even then that's not always better. And that's eBay. On forums its way better to find older hardware for cheap. How much for the g3258 setup?

Already got 655k and an Intel board from a good friend of mine for the cool price of free so I'm back in the PC master race again. I've missed it
