i7 4790k OC

These's temps seem decent? Everything runs stable, been at the speeds for about 2 weeks now. Just double checking.

I think some would rather "those's" temps be a little lower, but I wouldn't have a problem with it at all. Looks like it tops out right ~80* and I'd be OK with that.

I had those temps on a non-k 4790 for quite a while (no oc), and it's been fine.

What voltage are you giving the cpu?

I would try to lower it and see if it still ran fine for a while.

For a H100i that's quite high I would say. You might want to check your core voltages. They don't seem to be reading properly in either of those programs.

for a none delidded haswell core they look about right to me.

i would use xtu for stress testing to see if it throttles, if not don't worry.

Mine runs at 85-90c in a RVZ01 with a H75 using a single very underpowered fan. That's 4.44GHz@1.23v. I doubt his CPU will be using in excess of 1.3v to hit 4.5GHz, so the temps are high, but we need to know the voltage.

Its IBT and that will run hot no matter what, just like Prime95 small FTT. I wouldnt worry about it, also I wouldnt want to test such burn in apps, try something more down to Earth.

3dmark 06 & 3dmark vantage physics tests, 3dmark sky diver has also very cpu intense physics test, gets very hot as well towards the end with 96 threads.
Monster Hunter Online - new gpu bech has some AVX stuff in it and that can get a bit hot too.

For a H100i that seems quite high for 1.18v. As I mentioned earlier, I am running the same CPU at 1.23v, 4.44GHz but only with a H75 to cool it. The core temps only just tip into the 90s with OCCT (AVX).
