The GTX 960 will be out in a week. I would wait and see what the reviews have to say about it and the price.

The GTX 750 Ti that requires a 6 pin connector may be a little faster than the GTX 750 Ti that doesn't need a 6 pin and just runs off of the motherboard but I doubt you would notice much of a difference. The GTX 960 will definitely require one 6 pin connector since it will need more than 75 watts which is all the PCIe slot can supply.

the small ones like i showed requires 300 watts to 400 watts psu and don't have the 6 pin that i see

The GTX 970 you linked to has one 8 Pin connector. Look on the back upper left corner and you will see the solder for the 8 pins.

It will be fine with the GTX 750 Ti that doesn't need a 6 pin connector but I think we determined before that you didn't have any connectors on your PSU so no unfortunately you cannot run the GTX 970 and as we all agreed it would be best to upgrade the PSU.

I would wait for the GTX960, But IMO a card with 2GB of Vram it's a bad idea, i would wait for GTX960s with 4GB Vram.

or

Upgrade PSU and go for a GTX970

It won't run the GTX 970 card you linked to. That card requires an 8 pin but the good news is that the GTX 960 will only require a single 6 Pin and you should be fine with that on power requirements too. It will perform somewhere between a 760 and a 770.

Don't do that. That 750 is less powerful than the 750 Ti you linked to in post #1 and costs more too.

Well, if you just want something that is a good bit better than the GT 640 you have while you save up for a new rig then I guess I would recommend this

It's $120 after rebate which is a lot cheaper than Tiger Direct. You could sell it later when you have your new rig and get some $$$ back.
