Hello, im new to this forum, so i really hope that i posted this in the right place..
I have a weird message when i boot up my pc, it doesnt happen everyday, but mostly that happens when my pc has been off for day or so. When i hit the power button and pc starts, i get message '' Boot failure '' or smth like that. Then i click on '' Enter bios '' and then just exit and reboot, i dont change anything, and my pc boots just fine.
My Specs :
Fx6300 @4.3Ghz with CM T4 hyper cpu cooler.
Gigabyte G970A-UD3P mobo
Kingston HyperX fury @1866mhz
Corsair 600W modular PSU
XFX R9 280X Black edition
I don't know, could that be because of my cpu overclock? btw, temperatures are good.

Write your settings down, load default BIOS settings reboot. Is it there again?

As i said, it doesn't happen every time my pc boots up, it happens randomly, mostly on cold boot up.

Sounds to me like your CMOS battery is dieing and needs to be replaced. The randomness will soon be always if indeed the CMOS battery is crapping out. OR possibly an overclock issue and just reset to default and if the issue disappears then you have a bad overclock.

If its a bad overclock it will reset to default and that board will tell you so in a big window next time it fires up and it will tell you what the clocks are.

CMOS battery she be fooked
