It's possible the hard drive has failed.
Try removing the drive and reinserting it firmly, checking connections and check the BIOS again, run chkdisk if it is detected.[/QU OTE]
Hi Caring 1, thanks for the info, but that did not help. I mention virus before because the day before I got a warning that I could damage my computer if I continued, I was coping and pasting text. I did not have any problems until I went to turn it on the next day. I was able to get my 1st drive to show up in BIOS, after disconnecting the power a few times, and then it showed a # in the Boot section, but in the Boot section my FLOPPY, and NETWORK are saying not installed instead of disabled, the hard drive was saying that too before? I'm still getting the driver not found when I attempt to do a reinstall of the O/S. Thoughts??
