Yeah, hate the fact when I sign in to skype on windows 8.1 it then decides to set my PC up with that microsoft account automatically. Had to remove it last night and use the Skype account I made when I was 12 instead.
And the Windows 10 EULA is just a "I accept that you will keylog the living bejesus out of me". I kinda don't have a problem with that anymore. I'm getting datamined so hard everytime I drop my name on a website account, I've started attaching fake phone numbers because of all the cold calls I'm getting (because the company DOESNT protect my contact details like they said). What's another drop in the ocean eh?...

I had another look at it and find some smallish text which you have to scroll to and you don't have to setup a account or any thing. Maybe it's me not looking correctly but seemed kinda hidden like just after that part were you select options to turn on and off that i did not notice at 1st a scroll action is available and found 1 more option that i could turn off lol.

Anyways using the OS it's nice it starts up about the same as W7 how ever i think they screwed the design again having people dig for what they are after which is very un user friendly.

But still failed and should of gave the user the option of XP \ 7 \ 8 menu option by default so some one could find what the are after and maybe change to the new look if they wanted as the older gen don't want to relearn shit to do the same shit every time a new OS comes out or when the would like to buy a mew system.

It really pisses me off how Microsoft are not bringing back Aero and it's enough to put me off moving to W10 for as long as possible. Also, I compared the new Start menu with that on W7 and it doesn't have all the options of the old one, with the right hand side having been replaced by all those apps. So no, I'm not that keen on the "new improved!" version.

I'd move over once DX12 games that I wanted started coming out and I upgraded my graphics card to a fully DX12 capable one, but until then there's no compelling reason to do so, even if it's free.

So it sounds like you're planning on doing like me, and waiting till day 364! I'm still going to have to do it, because it will be free. Maybe by that time there might be one or two DX12 games.

From what I've been reading most DX12 features don't need "special DX12 hardware". So, there's that, and DX12 just won't be relevant for some time yet.

Yup, at the moment I sure am. Still, I'll wait for the RTM version before saying definitively. Heck, it will be free for me, so I'll be able to play with it on day one and see what I think of it.

That adoption lag does help to resist upgrading. However, if the performance benefits of DX12 are similar to the large gains claimed, I'll bet adoption will be relatively quick.

Certainly nvidia and amd are going to want to produce new GPUs to support it to boost sales and those sales will motivate developers to create the games for similar reasons.
