Hey guys, i'm using
- Core I7-3820
- Hydro Series™ H70 CORE High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

- Asus Rampage IV Formula

Never really had heating problems until the day before last when I reset my pc my bios alerted me that the cpu was at 81 degrees which is close to the 90 threshold, since then i've been testing out my cpu temps and found that it idles at around 40 with a load of 4.8% - 9% and when playing a basic game like world of warcraft starts edging up to around 60.

I have taken my pc apart, get rid of the dust, reapplied some thermal compound cool master paste and added another fan to the H70 radiator, my thoughts are that possibly the H70's liquid isn't working anymore, I have ordered another Liquid CPU Cooler.

Any thoughts on the problem I am having?

I'm assuming the H70 is plugged into a motherboard fan header. Since you just reset your bios, check the fan settings in the bios and make sure they're turned all the way up.

that’s correct, if you have it connected to motherboard's 4Pin header connector due Bios Reset, it may be running on minimum settings or auto, automatic speed it’s a complicated thing, I rather to choose it manually, or use 4Pin to molex adapter, check it out, let us know…
